Positive Tomorrows School
The new Positive Tomorrows’ campus is at the intersection of Education and Stability for Oklahoma City’s homeless youth and their families. As Oklahoma’s only tuition-free elementary school and social service agency partnering with families experiencing homelessness, this organization is unlike any other in the region. The design challenges presented by this new school for homeless children are met with careful considerations and intentional design solutions that support the school’s ‘High Structure – High Love’ curriculum.

First Baptist Church Newcastle
FBC Newcastle’s church membership continues to grow alongside the rapid growth of the Newcastle community. The church partnered with MA+ in the summer of 2022 to reimagine their existing church campus to support their growing congregation’s needs and plans for future expansion. While the church offers many adult programs, they also have a very large pre-K through high school age ministry program. This master plan aims to meet the needs of the church’s growth, the amenities provided, and improve all internal/external traffic flows.

The project consists of a 204,000-square-foot school with 78 classrooms, dual administration areas, two media centers, two gymnasiums, one of which is a storm shelter for the entire school, and two cafeterias that double as event centers for the community after hours. The school is divided into four pod-like “neighborhoods” to help with teaching and to promote student collaboration.
